The environment
A robotics and innovation lab is not an office with different furniture. The plan follows equipment footprints, servicing access, power and data provision, and the supervision sightlines a teaching environment needs.
Outtabox planned the environment, coordinated the design and delivered the fit-out: benching and workbenches, storage, task lighting, finishes and the collaboration and demonstration settings around them.
Learning environments of this kind also absorb change. Cohorts vary in size, equipment is replaced on its own cycle, and a single session can move between demonstration, build and review.
