The environment
ECOWAS asked for a design direction that reads as unity among member states rather than the identity of any single country. Outtabox bid for the work and was awarded the commission. Our scope covers the design direction, the artwork and its installation on site.
The decorative panels in the conference centre carry that idea in material form. They were set out, fabricated and installed by our own team, working around a live institutional building and its access rules.
A museum for ECOWAS is also being developed with us. That work is ongoing.
